🎨 Themes

SpudSuite supports light, dark, and custom themes to make your workspace feel like home.

Built-in Themes

Everyone gets access to three basic themes:

Light — Clean white background with dark text
Dark — Easy on the eyes in low light
System — Automatically matches your device's theme

Change themes in Settings → Appearance → Theme.

Pro Themes

Pro subscribers unlock 15+ curated themes:

🥔 Spud — Warm brown potato tones (the default for SpudSuite!)
🌲 Forest — Deep greens and earthy browns
🌊 Ocean — Cool blues and teals
🌸 Sakura — Soft pinks and warm whites
🌙 Midnight — Deep purple and dark blues
☀️ Sunrise — Warm oranges and yellows
And many more...

Custom Themes (Pro)

Pro subscribers can create fully custom themes:

Go to Settings → Appearance
Scroll to "Custom Theme"
Adjust any colour: background, text, accents, borders
Save your theme with a name

You can create multiple saved themes and switch between them instantly.

Note Backgrounds (Pro)

Pro subscribers can also set background images for notes:

Upload your own images
Adjust darkness overlay for readability
Choose where the background appears (editor only, full note, or entire app)

💡 Tip: Dark backgrounds with light text work best. Use the darkness slider if your image makes text hard to read.

Folder Colours (Pro)

Pro users can assign custom colours to folders, making it easy to visually organise notes by project or category.
